Oh also two other things.
1) That is a lovely, very large, very red dump. In any other setting I would suggest seeing a doctor, but this is nice.
2) If wonder if the puddle lamps projecting the mustang logo will stay?
3) I think Nibbles ate some of your pictures.

1) lol, well played.
2) good question, I think it's a little gimmicky but kind of awesome.
3) Yep, I copied and pasted from Mustang6G, not surprised.

I just jizzed in my pants. This will be in my driveway within the decade. The car, not the jizz. Maybe both actually.

Thank you for this! It's good to see all the angles. The car really looks good IMO. The back was questionable but seeing it from every side has helped a lot. The red difuser has GOT TA GO though...fugly. The GT grille is sexy. Can't wait to see one in the flesh.

I like it a heck of a lot better in silver. I think it'll actually look good in black.
Not sold on the busy interior...but I haven't liked the interior of the last two mustangs all that much either

No problem. The red diffuser is awful, that's about the only thing I don't like. The 2010 and 2011 I had both had black diffusers, which I didn't always like since they weren't body colored. But this just looks tacky, hope they fix that prior to launch. Looking forward to seeing one in person as well.

As much as I despise muscle cars, the want is strong on this one.

I think they did a pretty solid job. I've owned a few recent Mustangs and they were already a great drive, even without IRS.
What's your thing if you're anti-muscle car? Always curious to hear peoples likes and dislikes.

I feel more comfortable in small, hyperactive cars, so it can be anything from a Renault Clio Williams to a Lotus Exige.
Currently I have a GTI Mk5 which is already too big for my taste, but serves it's purpose of daily/auto-x/hauler/sleeping pod after lunch. Not very fast, not too nimble, but it was the best in my budget when I bought it.
Even though I would probably never buy a mustang myself, I have to admit that this new gen has a good call of the classics and some beautiful lines that seem to copy euro luxury sport cars. Looks really mature, and I think it can appeal to many audiences, not just gearheads and teenage girls.

Makes sense, I was in that realm for awhile. I had a couple MX-5s, a Prelude, a Civic, a 944 and some other smaller vehicles. That first V8 Mustang did it for me though and I've had several since.

I've been eyeballing the classifieds looking for a cheap mx-5, are they really up to the hype, or you need to dump buckets of cash in it to make it a decent daily/weekend car?

They aren't bad, mods are cheap and it's a really fun car. The issue is, and you may get this already tryign to do daily/autox/napping in your GTI, the MX5 can't do all of those things as well as some other cars. The 1999 I had was a 3rd car, not a regular commuter. The 2012 I had was a 2nd car and a main commuter and it was way too small to pull that off. Simple things like where to put a bag or something with a passenger (a normal car you can toss it on the back seat) got old fast.

I don't know what it is but I know two people in real life who drive VAG cars (love the acronym) and they're import purists. They think that "German engineering" is in some way so superior to american engineering that they'd never consider domestic. They drive a rabbit and a jettta and they'd prefer those cars over something like my 07 GT. Over the last day I've been having an internet pissing contest with some guy whose username is iluvmyveedubz and he loves to hate the new mustang as well. What is with you VW owners and your overcompensating attitude towards mustangs?

To be honest, the only domestic cars for me are the Mastretta and the Vuhl which are way out of budget lol, so there's no senseless anti-patriotic bullshit here.
Don't get me wrong, the Mustang is a great car, but it's not for me. I live in an overcrowded city with almost dead stop traffic, the local racetrack is dangerous for a RWD car with live axle, AutoX takes place in small parking lots more fit for Gymkhana and fuel prices increase once or twice a month, so a more sensible car is needed. As a matter of fact, I should be downgrading to a Fit or a Fiesta, but we (the fianceé and I) need a car with a decent size hatchback to haul crap from home depot and such.
I know for some people in some places is the way to go, but for me it's not an option, although I admire the car for what it is and what it represents in car history.
